• Dual DAC Architecture: Easily switch between ESS9039 for clean, analytical sound or AK4493 for smoother musicality. Assign your preferred DAC chip and filter mode to each LINE and headphone output, tailoring sound to different genres, gear, or moods. SINAD ≥113dB, THD+N as low as 0.0002%, ensuring clean, distortion-free audio.  

• Expressive Display with Style: The screen clearly shows input mode, DAC chip assignment, USB driver mode, and volume—everything you need at a glance. Q1 also offers 11 unique display modes, including diverse retro-style VU meters, audio spectrum, spinning vinyl, and cassette-style reels, each adding visual character to your HiFi setup.

• Input and Output Versatility: Supports USB-C with UAC 1.0/2.0 modes for wider compatibility, including gaming consoles, plus Bluetooth with aptX/aptX-HD, coaxial, and optical inputs. Q1 has 2xRCA and 2xbalanced TRS outputs, powering up to four amps or active speakers at once. A 3.5mm headphone jack offers personal listening with 1000mW output and two gain levels for optimal performance with both IEMs and high-impedance headphones.

• Full Control at Your Fingertips: Customize your audio with four swappable LME49720 op-amps, easily accessible via a top window. Q1 also features full-spectrum RGB lighting, remote control, Bluetooth reset, adjustable brightness, and 12V trigger out. Perfectly matched with the Ampapa D1 for a cohesive stack both visually and functionally.

Q: What operating systems are compatible with the Q1’s USB connection, and do I need to install a driver? A: Q1 supports Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, iOS, and audio-focused Linux (e.g. Volumio, ROON). USB connection with phones requires OTG support. No drivers needed for mobile devices, macOs, or Linux. Windows needs a driver only in UAC 2.0 mode.   Q: Can I remove the mesh layer on the Q1’s top window?
A: No. It’s a built-in EMI shield to prevent signal interference. Please do not remove it, and keep phones or routers away from the Q1.   Q: Can I replace the op-amps in the Q1?
A: Yes, the Q1 uses 4PCs pluggable LME49720 op-amps, which can be replaced by standard dual op-amps like 2604/2134/muses02 etc.    Q: Why don't the single VU meter and spectrum display work properly?
A: In single VU meter and spectrum modes, the Q1 only detects the left channel input. If only the right channel is connected, the VU meter and spectrum display will not operate.    Q: Why can't I find Q1 in my Bluetooth list?
A: Make sure Q1 is set to Bluetooth mode, then turn on Bluetooth on your phone and search for "AMPAPA Q1" to connect. If Q1 still doesn't appear, try clearing previous connections using the remote control.   Q: Why do the vinyl and tape-style displays spin at a constant speed?
A: These two display modes don’t react to audio signals, so they simply maintain a constant rotation speed. Even if the music is paused,the rotation continues as long as the mode is engaged.    Q: Why does the VU meter show a large deflection at low volume, but a smaller deflection at high volume? 
A: The Q1 features an automatic gain control system (AGC) for the VU meters. When the input signal is low, the system switches to high gain; when the signal is high, it switches to low gain. This ensures the VU meters maintain sufficient deflection across different volume levels.   Q: Does the remote control include batteries?
A: For safer and faster delivery, the remote control may not include batteries (AAA*2). Please prepare them yourself. Parameters
